Greg Theis is the owner of Legacy Financial Services, Inc., and has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He is passionate about his business and his clients and strives to build long-term relationships with them and their families by providing retirement income planning guidance when they are close to retirement or looking for guidance during retirement.
As a member of the Oak Brook Financial Planning Association Board since 1990, Greg has helped hundreds of families with retirement, investment, legacy, tax and wealth planning. By identifying potential tax savings, coordinating legacy plans for the client and beneficiaries, and implementing and managing personalized investment strategies, he helps his clients pursue their individual and long-term financial objectives.
Greg graduated with a B.A. degree in Business from Governor’s State University, IL. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation, which provides him the knowledge of both financial planning and insurance to help with the wealth management needs of retirees in multiple states. His other industry credentials include Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and a licensed life insurance agent with experience in long-term care alternatives. He is also an investment advisor representative and has obtained the Series 63 and 65 financial licenses.
Greg is a native of Illinois. He is married with three children and has now added “grandpa” to his repertoire. He has been a member of Our Lady of Woods Church for more than 23 years and often helps or hosts with retreats. He enjoys vacationing in Florida and Colorado and has enjoyed white water rafting.
